CNOOC Shell Phase II ethylene cracking unit and its derivatives unit were officially put into production

Beijing, May 2, 2018: China National Offshore Oil Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNOOC") and Royal Dutch Shell (hereinafter referred to as "Shell") today announced that the second ethylene cracking unit and its derivative units, the second phase of the petrochemical plant in Huizhou, Guangdong, were officially put into operation, and other related units will also be put into operation in the coming weeks. The new unit of Phase II project is constructed by CNOOC and owned and operated by the joint venture CNOOC Shell Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNOOC Shell").
